I hope to see Carl run some more races in 2015! Carl works hard week in and week out. I'd love to see him get some good seat time with some good runs! :)

Carl had next to nothing to do with the JGL side of the garage at all after mid season last year so he was never going to be involved with the above stuff anyway. If we do see him, it'll be to do with his #72 and/or #13 cars or helping out RWR again.

I think you're right! Hopefully he will run the 72 or 13 in some races!!

So far, all that's confirmed is Derek White in the #13 at Daytona.

Meanwhile, (and no longer much to do with Carl though I dunno where they are based) JGL have changed their numbers around a little and are running JJ Yeley and Eric McLure full time in the #28 and #24 cars and have a part-time car (#26)  that Mike Wallace is running at Daytona.

Interesting to see JLG Racing planning to use Toyotas, according to JJ Yeley, since Dodge is not involved in nascar, they don't want the team running the Dodges, which is kind of interesting, Carl's new team, #13 is listed as Chevy and #40 is listed as Dodge on the Daytona entry list

The #13 and #40 are being run by some sort of weird conglomeration of people such as Carl, Derek White, Rick Ware and Curtis Key among others making use of the cars, equipment, personnel (a big problem Carl had last year was staffing his teams), drivers (Chris Cockrum is an RWR stalwart) and car numbers of all the entities. RWR are also running the #15 of Contreras as well while Key isn't running anything of his own in Nationwide (I refuse to use that moronic advertising "X" buzzword) now that he's moved up to Cup with Hornaday. Huge entry at Daytona so it's gonna be a major effort for a lot of guys to get in the field, especially with the ridiculous plate track qualifying system.

Carl and Co do have a pretty healthy crop of sponsors for Daytona though.

JGL has absolutely nothing to do with Carl any more.

I think the qualifying adjustments that nascar has made will help the small teams.

Thanks to one of the groups dithering too much and then wiping themselves out, both of the CLR care made it into the Top 33 qualifying times and made the field!

Both cars finished 21st and 22nd, I think it's a decent effort for the small budget teams

Yup. They were basically on the pace of Koch, McLure and a few others all day, none of whom were in terrible cars. This whole weekend looked like a step forward over last year.
